2011 shortlisted entries

The shortlist has been published for this year's hotly contested Construction Marketing Awards.

That this is a year of record entries, over 30 companies and around 20 agencies feature on the list, is an indication of the rude health of innovation, creativity and excellence in construction marketing.

The Chair of judges Ian Exall said: “I’m really pleased with another year of record entries. It shows marketers creativity and enterprise is not dulled by the awful economy. I’m also really pleased by the growing strategic influence CIMCIG members are obviously having on their companies activities. The quality of the entries was the highest I’ve ever seen, in particular in the ‘Strategy’ category – where companies taking marketing seriously at board level are clearly outperforming those who do not.”

Judges were delighted with the innovation on show. Some categories, particularly the digital ones, were very hotly contested, and choosing between some truly excellent entries was really very difficult.
